Join us online (Teams) or come to our premises in Helsinki!
When the employer considers dismissing, furloughing (temporarily laying-off) or reducing the working time of his/her workers, (s)he must start change negotiations according to the new Co-operation Act in good time and before the final decision is made.
You are warmly welcome to come and to learn about:
- what are change negotiations and how they should to be carried out?
- what are sufficient financial and production-related grounds?
- what rights do you have during the negotiations?
- what if your working contract is terminated or if you are furloughed?
- what happens if you become unemployed?
- what support can you get from the union?
Event is meant specially for people who work in the game industry. This event is hosted by Game Makers of Finland and the speaker is lawyer Maria Jauhiainen from the Union of Professional Engineers in Finland. If you have any questions, you can send them in advance or ask during the event. You can also request a company-specific visit.
