As a member

Game Makers of Finland is the world's first labour union for game workers and students. Our goal is to help to create and develop industry's best practices together with it´s professionals. We also want to improve working conditions, general well-being and growth and act as a visible and reliable partner in the sector.

We know the rules of the working life. As a member you can count on us and also participate to our work as an influencer in your workplace or school or even join our board. Our union exists for its members.

Why join?

Belonging to a union can be compared to taking out insurance. However, it is much more. It’s about taking care of yourself and your family. It is security. It’s also for those situations where something in your workplace changes and you don’t know how to act.

As a member, you have access to the benefits offered by Game Makers of Finland, Association of IT sector Employees (Tietoala) and Union for the Professional Engineers in Finland (Insinööriliitto). You can join Game Makers of Finland, regardless of work tasks or educational background, the unifying factor of our members is working or studying in the game industry.
