Membership fees 

Membership fees varies from student fee to the worker´s fee including the unemployment fund. The amount in the last case is at most 38 € / month, including Association of IT sector Employees (Tietoala) and The Union of Professional Engineers in Finland (Insinööriliitto) memberships.

By paying the membership fee, you ensure that you are entitled to all the benefits, services and insurances that are provided by the union. There is also possibility to acquire a discount, you can read about that from here.

Membership fee is tax deductible.

Example 1:
The person joins and elects Tietoala ry as a member organization. The monthly salary is over € 3,000, in which case the membership fee corresponds to the maximum amount, ie € 38 / month, including the unemployment fund fee.

Example 2:
A vocational school student joins as a student member, in which case the membership fee is a lump sum of € 30 for a maximum of 5 years of study. Upon graduation, he will receive a 50 % discount on the union fee for the next 18 months.
